Q: Do you install the system for me? If not, can you recommend me an installer?
A: No, we simply supply you with the digibox and viewing card. However, please click here for a list of installers who we know around Europe:

Q: Do I need a satellite dish to watch Sky television? If so what size?
A: Yes you do need a satellite dish. The size of the dish is dependent on your location. Please contact us for further information.

Q: I have the dish but I'm not sure exactly where it should point?
A: Your dish will need to point at 28.2 degrees east of true south and the dish alignment is near vertical. The satellites you will need to receive are Astra 2A, Astra 2B and Astra 2D.

Q: I only need the system for a few months, can you provide me with your service?
A: No, you must subscribe for a minimum of 12 months.

Q: Can I watch Sky from outside mainland Europe?
A: Yes. The dish size you will require will vary depending on your location - Sky can be received from as far out as North Africa, Moscow and Cyprus.

Q: Can I watch Sky through cable outside of the UK?
A: No, you need a satellite dish to watch Sky abroad.

Q: I already own a Sky digibox - can you supply me with just a viewing card?
A: Yes, providing the digibox isn't already being used with an existing viewing card and you sign up with Insat International for a minimum period of 12 months for an annual fee of £150 if you choose to pay Sky on a monthly basis, or £125 if you choose to pay Sky an advance one-off payment for 12 months worth of viewing.

Q: When can I expect to receive my viewing card and/or digibox once I have placed my order?
A: Typically within 3-14 working days.

Q: Can I track my order?
A: Yes - customers who place an order for a digibox will have their item sent by UPS Express free of charge. We will email you your UPS tracking number once your item has been dispatched. Customers who order just a viewing card can also have their card sent via UPS Express for an additional charge of £35.00.

Q: Can I take up Sky's Multiroom offer which enables me to have the second subscription for a reduced rate of £10.25 per month?
A: Unfortunately not. The Multiroom offer is only applicable to UK based customers who must keep both systems connected to an active phoneline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q: How do I make the Sky subscription payments if I agree to sign up with you for a minimum of one year?
A: We simply forward either your Visa or MasterCard details, or UK based direct debit details on to Sky for them to charge you.

Q: Can I use a universal digital receiver such as a Dreambox, Humax, or Strong with a Sky viewing card to watch Sky?
A: No, to watch Sky you must have a dedicated Sky digibox made by the following manufacturers: Pace, Panasonic, Sony, Thomson, Amstrad, Samsung and Grundig - an official 'Sky' logo will be located somewhere on the front of each digibox.

Q: I've not had the digibox on for a substantial amount of time, and now I have lost all my channels - what do I do?
A: You must leave the digibox on for at least 24 hours for your channels to come through - when the digibox has been switched off for more than 3 to 4 weeks it does not receive the monthly activation signal sent by Sky, hence the loss in channels. NEVER call any numbers displayed on the TV screen.

Q: Can I use additional online services such as Sky Player, iPlayer etc through Insat's service?
A: Unfortunately not. Not only do Sky actively block non UK IP addresses, but we do not divulge the information Sky would require from you to register an account even if they did allow the online services to be used abroad.

Q: On Sky's website they are offering digiboxes for free? Why should I pay Insat for a digibox?
A: Sky subsidise their digiboxes for UK based customers - to qualify for the deal, the customer has to agree to have the digibox connected to a UK phone line, and part of this deal involves a Sky technician physically installing the system at the customer's residence. We buy our digiboxes unsubsidised from a distributor at trade price, so that our customers are not expected to connected the digibox to a telephone line.
